Organize Tours to Technical Facilities

The IEEE’s local organizations can help feed that curiosity by arranging tours of nearby technical facilities, such as manufacturing and electric power plants, satellite ground stations, and telecommunications facilities. Members -- and nonmembers, who are also welcome to come along -- learn about equipment they may have wondered about, and they may also have the opportunity to meet with an organization’s top management, which sometimes can even lead to a new job.
