Engineers Forge Greener Path to Iron Production

PhysOrg.com, accessed 30 Aug 2006 The American Iron and Steel Institute announced today that the team, led by Donald R. Sadoway of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT, has shown the technical viability of producing iron by molten oxide electrolysis.
