Intel Calls the Wi-Fi Shots

Monday's announcement of a group called the Enhanced Wireless Consortium, led by Wi-Fi chipmakers Intel, Broadcom, Marvell and Atheros Communications, is the latest example of a long tradition in tech: The big guys, one way or another, usually end up calling the shots on standards.
