Wireless Networks Could Get a Boost

by Dean Takahashi Mercury News, 14 Sep 2005 A Palo Alto company has created two new wireless chips that industry observers say will open the door to much faster and more convenient home networks. Airgo Networks says its chips will make wireless networks four times faster than current WiFi wireless Internet setups. That speed will make it possible to ship movies from one room in the house to another and to set up other home media options. Read more
