DOT Funding Opportunity - Demonstration and Evaluation of Speed Management on Main Roads in Rural Communities

The Federal Highway Administration is contemplating the award of multiple demonstration and evaluation projects for a performance period of 24 months. The objective of these demonstration and evaluation projects is to determine the extent to which gateways lead to lower speeds and improved safety on main roads in rural communities. This cooperative agreement program requires each recipient to conduct a carefully planned demonstration and evaluation of implementing a gateway for speed management. Read more
